Vertex s.r.o. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We collect information you provide directly: name and phone number when placing an order via the order form; name, email address, and message when submitting the contact form. We also collect information automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 11 and our Cookie Policy).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to process and fulfil your order (including calling to confirm and arranging delivery); to respond to enquiries submitted via the contact form; to improve the performance and content of our website; and where you have given consent, to deliver relevant advertising.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR Article 6)

Processing your order data is necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Cookie-based analytics and advertising rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Responding to contact form messages is based on our legitimate interests in customer communication (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with delivery partners who fulfil your order under a data processing agreement, and with Google (analytics and advertising services, see Section 10). We may disclose data if required by law.

7. International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK (for example, to Google's servers), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR, including standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

8. Retention Periods

Order data is retained for six years for accounting and legal purposes. Contact form data is retained for 12 months unless required longer. Cookie data is retained for periods set out in the Cookie Policy.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may collect data: Google Ads Conversion Tracking - to measure advertising effectiveness; Google Remarketing - to show relevant ads; Google Analytics - to analyse site usage (cookies: _ga, _gid, _gat); Google Maps API - embedded on the Contact page. All these services operate under Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com. We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2 so that tracking is only activated with your consent.
